ROCK HILL, S.C. - Charleston Southern's men took third place at the 2019 Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Bucs finished with 145 points behind only Hampton and Campbell. The final day saw several Bucs take the podium including a second place finish the final event, the 4x400m relay.

All four Bucs made the finals in the hammer throw and two made the podium with JP Caglione and Seth Wolfe took second and third respectively. Wolfe, in particular, threw a personal best of 52.51m. Ryan Spiecha finished fourth with a personal best as well (50m).
Timothy Davis's triple jump of of 15.18m is a new personal best for the junior that moves him up to 5th place in the school record books. The jump had him in the lead until the final jump, but he finished in second place. Frankie Thomas jumped a season best 2.02m in the high jump to take third in the event.
Heading into the final leg of the 4x400m relay, the Bucs were in last place. Justin Green took the baton and passed all but one runner ahead of him leading his team to a second place finish.
Trevor Dominy collected his second medal of the week with a third place finish in the 5K. He crossed the line in 15:09.94 just ahead of Wilson.
The senior, Josiah Scarlett, wrapped up his Big South career on the podium with a third place time of 53.17.
