CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern competed against a challenging field this weekend at the Florida Relays. The strong competition seemed to help some of the Bucs as many achieved some of their best times and marks.
Timothy Davis was the Bucs' only jumper in action this weekend. His best triple jump measured 14.82 meters.
JP Caglione threw his season best in the hammer throw with his best mark measuring in at 51.07m.
A personal best performance from Trevor Dominy highlighted the distance events for the Bucs. He placed 18th with a time of 14.41.27. Finishing under a second away from his person best, Andrew Akright ran a 3:53.23 in the 1500m to place 26th. Jaymee Domoney wasn't far behind crossing the line in 3:53.72.
The Bucs will take a weekend off before splitting the team between the Charlotte Invitational and the NC A&T Aggie Invitational on April 12-13.
