CHARLESTON, S.C. - Significant changes are coming to the Buc Club this fall as Charleston Southern is going to a points-based giving system as announced today by Athletic Director Jeff Barber and Associate A.D. for Development/Tickets Tyler Davis.
The Buccaneers will be adopting a points system that will reward members based on their giving level. These points will factor into eligibility for football season tickets, hospitality access, preferred parking, and charter trips to road football games, among other items.
"I am so grateful for all of our Buc Club members as their support will allow us to build championship programs in the classroom and on the playing fields," Barber said. "The new points system will go a long way in allowing our fans to realize the dream we all have for our teams."
"To our current Buc Club members, your support through giving is greatly appreciated," Davis said. "We trust you have enjoyed being members this year while interacting with each other and our student athletes. The time is right to stay involved and encourage others to get on board with you, because you are making an impact."
More details will follow in the coming weeks as CSU continues to enhance and restructure the Buc Club.
"The Buc Club membership has tripled in the last several years allowing us to provide support to our student athletes," Davis added. "Thank you to alums, parents, friends and donors that support Charleston Southern University Athletics."
